Kim’s career has spanned 25+ years in corporate leadership roles working across North America and Europe. After leaving corporate life she started working out and fell in love with fitness. She initially obtained her Zumba certification followed by her canfitpro Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS) and Barre Above Certifications and has taught privately with small groups as well as at a variety of fitness facilities around the Waterloo Region. A few years later she returned to a full time leadership role at The Food Bank of Waterloo Region where she remained for 3 years – focused on her work, family and volunteering before retiring in September of 2015. It was during that time she temporarily hung up her instructor sneakers.

Fast forward to 2017 and Kim begin teaching once again and hasn’t looked back. Teaching through Covid has definitely posed it’s challenges, however Kim continues to push forward and does her best to motivate people to remain active.

Kim lives in St. Clements with her husband Peter and dog Murray. Her daughter, Yasmine is currently studying at McGill University in Montreal.
